About the offering
01Sidra Medicine provides emergency mental health care through Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for children and adolescents experiencing crisis situations, including suicidal thoughts, severe aggression, or symptoms of psychosis. Families are advised to visit the Sidra Medicine Emergency Department, where the CAMHS team works in close coordination with Emergency Room staff to assess, stabilize, and arrange appropriate follow-up care for children in crisis.
Referrals are accepted through the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) electronic system. School counselors and teachers may submit urgent cases identified in schools using the CAMHS Referral Form. Upon receipt, the CAMHS team triages all cases based on urgency, ensuring timely intervention according to clinical severity.
