About the offering
01Sidra Medicine provides a safe, respectful, and confidential environment where young people aged 12 to 18 can receive care for physical, emotional, and behavioral health concerns. The team delivers empathetic, evidence-based care tailored to each adolescent’s individual needs, addressing high-risk behaviors, mental and emotional health challenges, and key life transitions such as puberty, academic pressures, and social changes.
Services include confidential health screenings, nutritional guidance and care for eating disorders, behavioral and mental health consultations, support for adolescents with disabilities or complex needs, assessment and counseling related to risk behaviors, and health education covering puberty, self-care, and emotional regulation.
The multidisciplinary team adopts a youth-centered approach built on trust and open communication, balancing family involvement with respect for adolescent confidentiality. Preventive health strategies promote long-term wellbeing and empower young people to take an active role in managing their health within a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Referrals are accepted through physicians at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) or the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC).
